Spring Work Wardrobe Updates

Spring Work Clothes
Regardless of what the groundhog predicted this past weekend, ¬†I’m ecstatic about spring! I can’t wait to wear soft silk pieces and nice shoes outside, without worrying about getting frostbite or having salt destroy my footwear. Since many stores are having sales, I’ve started looking for items to update my work clothing. It’s taken a while to build my wardrobe, but I have recently focused on silk and leather, quality pieces that should hopefully last a long time.
Both button down blouses are by Equipment, the wrap dress is Diane von Furstenburg, and the shift is by (genius!) Australian designer Josh Goot. The black pumps are Corso Como, handbag is Rebecca Minkoff and the black silk blouse is from Piperlime.com

I went to the mall for black pumps and ended up with new O.P.I. polish in Chocolate Moose, a Sephora lip color for fall (I don’t think the photo of me shows the true color; in real life, it’s more plum), the Bare Minerals Getting Started kit and some snakeskin Corso Como pumps. Still no conservative black pumps, but I can use all this other stuff for work, so I don’t feel so bad =)

All That Glitters…is Silver

I got these flats at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale last weekend, though they weren’t on sale. They’re the most confortable flats I’ve worn in a while and they’re perfect for travel since they roll up into a tiny bag. I’m mostly sure the envelope clutch isn’t real leather, but it’s very roomy and looks awesome. I have yet to debut it!
